Welcome to the ManaVoid Forums! Please Introduce Yourself.
#1
Hello ladies and gents, and welcome to the ManaVoid Entertainment Official Community Forums!

My name is Simon, Co-Founder and Lead Artist here on the ManaVoid Dev Team.

Over the past few weeks, we already got to know some of you through the numerous comments/private messages on the Epic Manager Kickstarter.
If you're new to the Forums or the ManaVoid Community, please take a minute and introduce yourself here. It's always a pleasure for us to hear more about you!

For example :
I like cats, and dislike mornings. I have as much caffeine in my body as white blood cells. My best friends are the other guys on the Dev Team and my graphic tablet.
Gaming-wise, I enjoy grand strategy games like Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV.
I had dreams of becoming an astronaut, but it turns out i'm not so good at math and uncomfortable in confined spaces. Game Dev seemed like the next logical option.

Best regards friends, and welcome! Smile

Hi, I'm Hobbes/ThatFuzzyTiger

Outspoken voice on some forums, exceptionally constructive tiger on others. Either way, I tend to make myself cosy and find a corner to nest up in. I have an insane steam account, I spend a lot of time reading various books as well as beta testing and assisting small developers bugtest and squash out any nasties that lurk in their games, as well as provide feedback at early stages of the game development cycle, once it moves to formal beta I tend to take a back seat and watch as things become more solidified. I like to get involved right at the raw formation stages, it's the whole thrill of creation that keeps me going now (am old, y'see).

About myself - 34 years old, based in southwest UK, ex LINX Tier 3 sysadmin, ex CCNA, MCSE and RHELM qualified, specialising in network security and infrastructure at the highest tiers of internet connectivity. I was one of the people who ensured you lot got your daily kitten videos Wink These days, chronically ill and dependent on the good graces of the government (they're not that good, trust me), and based out of a little house out in the country. It's quiet, and my existence is comfortable enough.

Expect me to be around in due course.

*bows*

Hi Smile,

Came on to change my password before my account was stolen.

Here's a humble suggestion, rather than giving everyone the same default password; it might have been better to create a random password and get everyone to use the 'forgot my password' functionality.

Anyway, my password is now secured, so I'm OK. Looking forward to playing this game. The hard work starts here, good luck! And remember, when you think you're 80% done you have about 80% of the work left to do... So Merry Christmas!

Hi guys!

My name is Sydney and i'm 28 years old.
Living in the great Dutch nation which is probably one of the smallest countries in Europe!
I work as a proces engineer in an industry that does this: Milk -> Milkpowder, quite complex if I must say.
In my free time I enjoy playing Indie games.
At the moment I'm spending my time in Dungeon Defenders 2, but can't wait to focus my time on Epic Manager when beta is coming.
Happy writings everyone and enjoy your time!

Hey all,

I'm Temig, a 32 year old IT Manager for a small manufacturing company in New Hampshire. I live on the North Shore of Massachusetts and have enjoyed gaming in its various forms (console and PC video games as well as card and board games) for most of my life. Like Simon I like cats (I have two at home) and dislike mornings (really, really dislike... the only redeeming quality is that I'll often wake up with at least one cat curled up next to me giving me a look to tell me to go back to sleep if I start to move).

Congrats to ManaVoid on the successful project and I look forward to getting to play!

Big Grin
Hello all,

I'm Fred, 34, from next door. Actually, I'm from the Montreal area, and I think it's great to see some indie stuff being made around here  Smile

I'm a software engineer/project manager by day, and a Hex addict by night. As such I'm part of the crew that was brought here by Cory Jones' shout out. The game shows promise and is a nice mix of genres. My only concern if I had one is the low KS goal versus the expected delivery date, as $30k is not a lot of money to feed 3 developers for a whole year, but that's a discussion for another day I guess.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to November to see how the final product turns out.

Hi, this is Daniel, 28-year old accountant by day, and scavenger for the contents of *your* fridge by night.

This game strikes right into the sweet spot between sports management sims and strategy / RPG games which I both crave. So I had to jump all over this project and I fully expect to spam these safe havens mercilessly in the years to come. XD

My name is Shawn.  I appear to be the the second oldest one here so far but I still love to play games.  List of systems I have owned or currently own:  Atari, Intellivision, Coleco, Sega, Dreamcast, Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo WiiU, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3...  Along with many computers through the years starting at the Comdore 64, Apple IIc up to my current Intel i7 laptop.  I love board games and paper RPG games as well.  Just dont have as much time with the family growing and keeping me busy.

I actually learned about Epic Manager from being a kickstarter backer for Hex TCG.  I'm really stoked for this game and can't wait to play it.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jeff. I'm 26 years old and live in Toronto, Ontario. I enjoy games of all genres across every platform (though I do tend hold favor with RPGs more than others). I had heard about Epic Manager from a very close source, and thought it looked pretty promising so I decided it would be my first Kickstarter project I'd actually pledge to. So, obviously, I was ecstatic when we reached full funding (and two awesome stretch goals). I'm looking forward to joining in discussions with everyone here as well as keeping up with status reports from the ManaBros.
Take care for now...got a calculus exam to write Sad
